Quality of education is facing big challenges in Kyrgyzstan. 80 % of schools are in rural areas and 75% of school students study with a lack of reliable education information in the Kyrgyz language. The problem is further complicated with the fact that statistically, 64% of 10-years-old do not understand the information they read due to lack of basic knowledge for their age, qualified teachers and contemporary educational resources, especially in Kyrgyz Language.
We are a non-profit organization with a mission to revolutionize education in Kyrgyzstan by providing free and high-quality resources. Our localization project Khan Academy Kyrgyz aims to enrich Kyrgyz educational content by translating and localizing more than 10K educational video lessons and more than 150 000 interactive exercises of Khan Academy https://www.khanacademy.org/ . With the help of 10 000 video-lessons and more than 150 000 exercises students can learn , develop themselves to reach their full potential. This project is a great opportunity for students from rural areas and Kyrgyz school students to study at their own pace in and outside the classroom from world-class teachers anytime, anywhere for free.
Your donations will help us bring this free, prominent digital learning resource to thousands of Kyrgyz children, especially those, 64% without access to qualified teachers and contemporary educational resources in Kyrgyz Language.
