Carolyn's Medical Fund

I decided to make this website because I can't take my moms everyday pain away but maybe I can pay a bill for her and see her smile! My mom has many health issues and as we all know insurance doesn't pay for everything. To me my mom's health issues began in August of 2011 but to my mom it has been forever. To this day there hasn't been a doctor to solve her daily headaches. I lived in an apartment above my mom on this night in August. She was taking her dog outside to go to the bathroom and she began to not feel herself. She passed out and was woken by her dog licking her face but she couldn't move. She laid there calling my name and praying I was in the right place to hear her in my apartment. Which I was!! Thank God! My mom went to the hospital for days and they ran tests and tests. She was told she was being discharged. They said you could of had a minor stroke, maybe its high blood pressure or maybe you have MS? How do you release someone and not know what is wrong with them? She went to numerous specialty doctors and finally someone saw 2 Brain Aneurysms. They found it just in time and in October of 2011 she had the major brain aneurysm coiled. The doctors were convinced this would solve her headache problems. About a week later she was back to the same pain. So it was back to more doctors with lots more tests for years. My mom found a doctor last year that explained to her that they want to go in her neck and kill nerves to fool the brain into thinking they arent there. In November she had the right side done and in December she had the left side and more on the right side because she still had pain after the surgery in November. We are now in January and the pain is back. Right before her follow up on last Friday she woke up with veins popping out of her forehead. My moms medical issues have completely stunned so many doctors with no answers. The doctors now would like to try a procedure in February where they go up through her nose and see if the nerves are damaged and if so they are going to kill them too.
I received a call from my mom last Friday and to hear the frustration and pain in her voice killed me. Years of pain and no answers! Everyday she asked me just to send her a pic of Lucy so she can for that second Smile. My stepfather Gary has been her rock and has been with her through every doctor visit, every surgery. With his great support he has had to take many days off of work. I made this site so I could surprise her with a couple of her bills paid and see a smile from her. My mom jokes about how she will be paying doctors for her whole life and I realize that but I just want to see that smile on my mom's face again and I know if I pay a bill then of course she will smile because honestly who doesn't smile when something says paid...Thank you all for listening to me and understanding a little about what my mom has been going through. My mom and step father have no idea I am doing this and I hope they don't kill me. I know they would both say they don't need help and they are fine, and Im sure they are but I just want to help and this is the only thing I could think of to do. Everyone's prayers have been greatly appreciated and we can not thank you enough for them.
