Our Little Fighter Colton Weber

Donation protected
Colton James was born December 2 in Bloomington Normal. December 10th Colton was admitted to Children's Hospital in Peoria for distended belly.  This little guy had to go through 3 times having biopsy's done. On December 30 Colton had surgery for Hirschspring's disease. Kim and Rob were told surgery could last up to 7 hours.  Giving Colton up to for surgery had to be one of the hardest things any parents have to do. January 1 Colton was taken back into surgery for abdominal exploratory surgery. He was having post op complications. It was discovered he had a perforated colon from previous surgery. Because of this intestinal contents were leaking into abdomen and he was in septic shock. They had to leave his intestine not connected because of inflammation and abdomen was left open because of swelling. January 3 Colton was taken back to surgery to do a recheck and close abdomen. Colton has been through 3 surgeries in 1 week and will have another one in 8 to 12 weeks to reverse and put his intestines back together. On January 12 Colton was on his 4th trip to OR in 2 weeks. Mommy and Daddy are hoping this resolves his abdominal issues.  I know Kim and Rob are so ready to hold and cuddle there little fighter Colton James. Kim updates Facebook with his progress. Follow his stories on Kim's page. Colton and been such a fighter and has so many family members and friends praying for him.
