August of last year, my friend, Lyndsay and I were hit by a car on the sidewalk by a driver who was speeding past too fast, flipped his car, and ran without being caught and without any regard as to what had happened to us. He was never caught due to fake ID on his registration and to be honest, police who marked it down as a lost cause without much research.  I feel very strange setting this up, as I'm uncomfortable asking for any money from anyone, but fear of bad credit and not having the ability to pay off my medical bills at this moment have led me to this option and I'm so open to helping out anyone that would help me out in turn. I have permanent facial scarring, which may need further work in the future, but it's cosmetic and personal preferance, so I don't expect anything extra, I just want to get the major medical expense of that night taken care of so I can move past it and not recieve a constant reminder each time I get a new bill in the mail.
