<div>In December 2023, my beloved husband Brandon — a proud Marine veteran — tragically died by suicide after years of struggling with PTSD tied to his military service and trauma from active duty.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The pain and shock of that loss are indescribable. I was a stay-at-home mom at the time, and I have spent the last year trying to rebuild our lives while raising our daughter, Jemma, and carrying everything alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fundraiser originally began during the immediate aftermath of Brandon’s death, and I will always be grateful for the support and love so many people showed us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But today, I am facing a new emergency in the same fight for survival.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am in foreclosure.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Court paperwork has already been filed, and I need urgent help to keep the only home my daughter has ever known. Jemma turns 10 years old this week, and I am trying with everything in me to save her childhood home and keep her safe and stable.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The reason I’m behind on the mortgage is not because I stopped trying — it’s because I’ve been forced into emergency “triage” decisions to keep the house livable.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Earlier this year, I had to prioritize a plumbing emergency that could not wait. Now, the straps holding the AC ducting in my ceiling have failed and fallen, and it has started pulling down the actual ceiling of the home. My living room ceiling has begun collapsing. I’ve done temporary stabilization with what I have, but I cannot afford the full repair while also catching up on the mortgage.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am asking for help because I cannot lose our home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>---
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>## HOW THE FUNDS WILL BE USED
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My immediate goal is to raise $10,000 to stop foreclosure and stabilize the home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>###  COST BREAKDOWN
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>| Expense                                   | Estimated Amount         | Purpose                                                                 |
</div>
<div>|-------------------------------------------|---------------------------|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
</div>
<div>| **Mortgage Catch-Up (5 months @ $1,680)** | $8,400                    | Bring loan current and stop foreclosure                                |
</div>
<div>| **Legal Fees &amp; Court Costs**              | $700 – $1,000             | Cover foreclosure filing and reinstatement costs                       |
</div>
<div>| **Ceiling Repair (AC duct failure)** | $2,000 – $2,500 | Re-strap ductwork, repair collapsed ceiling, insulation, and drywall |
</div>
<div>| **Emergency Plumbing Repairs (Completed)**| $500 – $1,000 | Urgent repairs that forced me to redirect funds from mortgage payments |
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>**Estimated Total Needed: $10,000 – $12,000**
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If more is raised:
</div>
<div>- Funds will complete any additional structural repairs
</div>
<div>- One extra mortgage month may be prepaid for stability
</div>
<div>- Remaining funds will create a small safety buffer so I never reach this point again
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>---
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can donate, it helps immediately. If you can’t donate, sharing this still matters more than you know.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping me keep Jemma’s home safe and standing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
