Shop Rent

Chris is a self-employed craftsperson of the highest order; he makes his living as a right-handed blacksmith.  In the words of Roy Schiff, "guess we are all just one shift away from pain and surgery" this is where Chris is.  On Saturday morning during our annual benefit hockey tournament dubbed the "Rink of Dreams" Chris, the faithful captain, of the sunrise team, went down.  Complete dislocation of the right hand. He has undergone surgery acquired some new materials in his wrist and is now on the path to a projected 3 month recovery.  Yes it’s true he has less friends on the ice than in locker room, but when you do have the pleasure of playing with him you are aware of his passion for the job.  This same passion is true for his family, friends and craft.  If you can please consider helping cover the shop overhead for him in the next few months while he gets his hand back, I know he would be forever grateful.
