It is with great regret and unspeakable sorrow that the Byrd family announces the unexpected passing of our beloved nephew, cousin, brother, uncle, and youngest son of Ronnie Byrd Sr., Kelon Byrd. He was shot and killed Saturday 10-17-20, around 5:50 AM in Milwaukee, WI. The murder is still under investigation and the killers are still at large.

I am Marilyn, an older sister of Ronnie and aunt of Kelon. I'm doing this in hopes to assist my brother because he, himself recently suffered a near-fatal motorcycle accident where he lives in Memphis, TN. He is still on a long path to recovery and has been overwhelmed with additional medical expenses.
Kelon is a devastating loss to our family.
I am starting this fundraiser as a means of not only contributing myself but to allow close friends, associates, and anyone who has the heart to give. As for members of the entire Byrd family across the country (whom we affectionately call the Byrd Nest); I am making a special appeal for you all to help participate with expenses. As we will need to pay for all funeral costs fairly quickly.
The burden of the Pandemic still requires restrictions, so we will find out and provide more details as we receive them along with announcing and posting the obituary.
We want to give Kelon the memorial service he deserves, to honor his memory, and say our last goodbyes.
