I will be having Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery as the next step in treatment for my Parkinsons Disease. This surgery will hopefully improve the quality of my life tremendously. My first surgery is for the lead implantation on both sides of my brain, scheduled for March 13, 2015. The second surgery is on March 27th when the nuerostimulator (generator or battery) is implanted in my chest. We are asking for donations to help pay for out-of-pocket costs that insurance doesn't cover. Any donations exceeding these costs will go to the Hauenstein Center at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI towards Parkinsons Disease research.
