On September 17, 2013 Trevor Schweigert was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma. Since that time, he has endured numerous rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, MIBG therapy and is currently undergoing a clinical trial, hu3f8, at Sloan-Kettering.
People are always asking how they can help Trevor and his family. Well, here it is folks. We are asking you to get out, get moving, and raise money through walking or running. Dan and Beth Weatherford have each set a goal to walk 1,000 miles by September 20, 2015 Cure Fest in Washington, DC. Our plan is to donate a dime for every mile as our way to contribute to the fundraiser.
The money raised will go directly to the Schweigerts. Please contact us if you would like to participate in this event and let's get moving!!!! Also, you don't have to walk to participate. Just sharing the news about Trevor, in this fundraising effort is much appreciated.
