Kevin's Peru & Q'ero Nation Pilgrimage

I have been invited by my Peruvian teacher Don Gino Chaka-Runa to spend the month of April 2021 in a deep, immersive study program.
My goal is to take this journey not only for my personal benefit, but also for the benefit of the communities I serve through my work. I hope to start a new and power filled phase of my "medicine life", deepen my shamanic practice, learn new techniques and rituals, and strengthen my connection to Pachamama (Mother Earth) who has guided and sustained me throughout my life.
My time in Peru will begin with a long and arduous trek into the high Andes to visit the Q'ero people. We will live in their community and learn from the Q’ero Andean elder shamans who are known to be the “Keepers of The Key”. This community of indigenous Paqos (shamans/mystics) are the last descendants of the Inca high priests lineage. They are one of the few civilizations on Earth that have kept their ancient teachings, secret codes and Inca spiritual cosmovision intact and alive for centuries. This is a rare and precious opportunity, as they open their doors to us only twice a year, inviting us to their village to share their knowledge and experience their way of life.
After visiting and studying with the Q'ero shamans, we will return to the Sacred Valley where I will enter into a 12 day dieta. Each day of the dieta we will drink
a tea brewed with "Master Plants" and receive teachings about the plants from the maestro.
During the dieta we will participate in 5 Plant Medicine ceremonies, 1 San Pedro ceremony and 1 Kambo, Rapé, Sananga Ceremony with Mapacho, Chacapa and Agua Florida cleansing during each ceremony. We will also receive personal cleansings and the healing Arkana, as well as floral baths for cleansing and protection.
Additionally, I will be attending a 4-Day Visionary Painting Workshop with a disciple of the famous visionary artist Pablo Amaringo.
I feel a powerful call to journey to Peru for this important work. I know that the Mother is guiding me into deeper and deeper relationship with the medicine and also the wider, global shamanic community. I know this effort will plant seeds that will grow and blossom in our home communities and benefit everyone I work with through our organization Vida Brillante .
If it is not a hardship for you and you are able to help me reach my goal, I will offer 1 complimentary personal shamanic session per $50 donated. I will also provide gift certificates for those who wish to share their sessions with others.
