<div>Hello, my name is Kevin Baker. Due to unforeseen circumstances and falling on hard times, I'm a 56 year old humbled young man asking for your support. But first, let me tell you a little bit about myself. Im a very family oriented person. The morals and values that my parents instilled into me and my siblings earlier in our childhood I still adhere to them in my old years. Originally I'm from Jacksonville Florida and haven’t been back home since 2009 when my mother passed of pancreatic cancer. As you can imagine, being separated from my family all those years, I became lonely and missed a lot in life. My family is very close and loving people. Unfortunately, they were unable to see me due to their finances and other personal reasons such as health and work. Im a very private person and a coming on this platform to ask for assistance  really was difficult for me to do so. Yet, my faith in humanity is strong and my faith in this community has been strengthened via this ND App. I've earned my CDL license recently and currently I’m awaiting employment with Greyhound Bus Services.

<div>Let me explain as to why I need your support. I've been gone from home for over half of my life.Now  my father will be 81 years old in August. His health is not the best, and he keeps asking me when I'm coming home because he's not going to be here for too much longer. Just the sound of his voice saying this breaks my heart and very concerning. The weekly phone calls are not enough. I want to see my father in person very soon. Secondly, the next important person I want to see is my sister. She's more like our mother since my mother passed away in 2009. My regrets is I didn't have the opportunity to spend time with her. My sister's health is not good either. Finally, I have a daughter whom I've haven't seen in years. We don't have the best relationship. But, I would love to reconnect face to face to improve our relationship. My daughter has 3 smart and beautiful children, none of them I haven't seen yet in person. Rekindling with my family is very important to me before I leave this earth. With your prayers and support, my journey to home ( Florida) is possible.
