<div>On April 3 at 10:47pm dad gained his wings and Heaven gained one hell of a man.

<div>On February 14, Natalie took Kevin to the hospital for what we thought was another episode of a-fib and needing fluid taken off. Next thing he knew, he was transferred downtown Cleveland to University Hospital's heart failure team, where they made the choice to put Kevin on the heart transplant list and an LVAD.

<div>Fast forward to Monday, March 3, Kevin went in for an LVAD (left ventricle assist device). His family was told that this would be something he would bounce back from, with a short few days in the ICU, then to step down and hopefully home. Unfortunately, it has been nothing short of that. There have been many ups and downs since then! As of right now, March 6, he remains intubated in the CTICU, medically unstable/stable.
