Kevin Powell is a 50-year-old devoted son, brother and father of four children who is fighting the battle of his life, Stage 4 throat cancer and lymphoma. He went in for a routine physical two years ago when his primary care physician checked his ears, nose and throat. His physician became concerned and immediately sent him for additional screening, where he was diagnosed. He has battled this disease for almost two years since being diagnosed. As a result of a previous physician's negligence, the cancer quickly spread and advanced to Stage 4 and then lymphoma. Kevin has maintained a positive outlook and remains optimistic.
He began receiving treatment from qualified and compassionate physicians who are passionate about saving his life. He recently underwent another invasive surgery three weeks ago to this throat that lasted 7.5 hours. He has been unable to work due to his treatment and multiple surgeries. He has been unable to make his car payments and has fallen three months behind. He desperately needs his vehicle to commute to his treatments 1.5 hours away.
His bills and medical costs are escalating. Every donation helps, and if you cannot donate, please share this story, and please pray! Thank you to everyone who reads, donates, shares, or prays for him and his family.
