Kevin Hutchinson Housefire Fund

Donation protected
My dad, Kevin Hutchinson, lost his home in a housefire on March 2nd. He arrived home later than usual after working a extra two hours at his shift to find his home up in smoke. All he has left now are the clothes on his back. He told me on the phone (we live on opposite ends of the country) that he was concerned about not having a change of contacts or his glasses because without them he wouldn't be able to drive to work. My dad built that house (the house I grew up in) with his own two hands. He felled the trees on his property and hammered every nail in that house himself (except for a few that I "hammered" while "helping" him when I was maybe 6 years old). It took over four years. Recently he just finished some extensive remodelling and repairs (such as the roof and porch). But the house is now totalled, and at this point we're not sure what is happening next. My dad is a hard-working, self-sufficient man. One particularly saddening loss is all the garden vegetables and deer meat he had stocked to the brim in his two large freezers - food that he harvested and hunted himself. Again: with his own two hands. He has done so much work and service and love with those two hands. Please lend him a hand of your own now as he begins to rebuild his life. Thank you!!!
