Kev's Supporters - Bring Him Home

On the night of March 30, 2018, my wife and I were just settling into bed for the night when we received a phone call..it was to inform us that my brother-in-law Kevin had passed away.  He was only 27.  From that moment, to as I type this story, I have been overcome with emotions that I have never endured before.  Beyond myself, the realization that my wife and mother-in-law had now lost both a son/brother and a husband/father was all I could think about.  In good times and bad, I have always searched for ways to help others, including my current profession as a teacher.  This time is no different.  I am doing everything in my power to ease the inevitable and lasting pain of Kevin's passing, but I simply can't make up for the financial need to bring Kevin home from California and make the necessary funeral arrangements here in New Jersey.  All costs will ultimately fall on my mother-in-law, Elaine Skwarski.  She was uncertain about this page being made, as she has been a single mother for 14 years and managed to continue supporting her two children on her own.  I know deep down that she could use the financial assistance as she takes on the cost of this unforeseen, tragic loss.  In lieu of flowers, we are asking any donations to be directed to this page.  Thanks to all in advance for your support!
