I wanted to introduce you to my son's soccer coach and our family friend and I ask that you consider helping him in this time of need:

My name is Kevin Kwizera and I am from Burundi, but I came to the States seeking asylum from the violence back home. I played in the first division national soccer team back home in Burundi.

I followed my brother to Santa Barbara and was invited to play soccer at Santa Barbara City College. The coach promised me a soccer scholarship and I was allowed to register for classes in the Fall of 2016. When I went to register for Spring semester I was told that I owed $3,300. This came as a shock to me to see that the coach had misrepresented the scholarship he promised me.

I am able to pay $1300.00, but need help covering the rest of the debt owed to City College. I am not able to attend SBCC until this debt is paid. I want to get this debt out of the way so I can continue to pursue my educational goals which is to get my AA degree and then a 4 year degree. Any amount you can donate is so appreciated.
