Richard "Kevin" Fadely Recovery

Dear Family and Friends,
On Saturday, December 1, 2018, Kevin Fadely suffered a major MCA Ischemic stroke. He has made progress but there is a long recovery period ahead of him. He’s able to move his right leg and he has regained some speech but there will be many months of PT, OT and speech therapy in the hopes of fully recovering. As of now, he has some use of his right arm, but not his right hand and we continue to pray for improvement. We all know how determined he is, and we hope that this driving spirit will get him over the many hurdles ahead.
Kevin does not have medical insurance and he will be out of work for an undetermined time. As many of you know, Terry has spearheaded numerous fundraisers for those in need over the past several years. The Fadelys’ are warm, loving and generous people who need our help. I’m asking for your support of this wonderful couple as they prepare to go through this difficult journey. Their small, family owned landscaping/hardscaping and snow removal business employs them both. The doctors have told Terry that it will be nearly impossible for her to work while he’s in this recovery period. They anticipate speech and physical therapy will continue for one year. He may not be able to drive again. Thus, she will have to take him to and from the many appointments each week, in addition to maintaining the household and deciding the future of the business. His friends will make any modifications necessary to their home to make him as comfortable as possible.
If we can alleviate some of their short- term financial responsibilities, Terry can worry less and concentrate more on Kevin’s care. She has tremendous faith and prays for Kevin to beat the odds. May the spirit of the holidays find you in good health and fill you with love and joy. Let’s spread some with Kevin and Terry and try to make this season a little more joyful. May God Bless.
