This fund is created by New Life Church in Pine Bluff, AR in honor of Det. Kevin D. Collins, who sacrificed his life for the safety of the citizens of our community.
Kevin loved Pine Bluff and demonstrated this through his unfailing love for the career he chose and the community he swore to protect and serve.
This fund is being created to provide a scholarship, in his name, to a student or students who wish to pursue a career in law enforcement by first attaining a degree in criminal justice degree at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. We are excited to see the legacy of Det. Kevin Collins live on through this scholarship.
The funds raised on GoFundMe will be deposited into the "Kevin Collins Memorial Scholarship Fund" account at Relyance Bank, and then given to the UAPB Development Office. The UAPB Development office will match the funds raised and endow a scholarship in Det. Kevin Collins' name.
All donations will be tax deductible.
