My name is Sara Bickis and I am starting this gofundme for a young family close to my heart.
Kevin, Traci, Hunter and baby girl due any day, are my sons closest friends. We have known Traci and her family for over 20 years.
Kevin is the type of man when he has a friend in need, he is the first to help. That bond with his friends is what almost killed him.
On September 29th he was shot 7 times by his lifelong friend.
He was STAT flown to U of L Hospital where he has been through several sugeries. Full recovery is expected.
In the mean time, as we all know, bills still need paid.
Kevin is the type of man that will want to go back to work the day after he is released form the hospital, even though he needs time for his body to heal, and his doctors say at least 8 weeks, so rather than seeing him face a set back, I would like for them to have a nest egg to help ease the finacial burden. Especially with a new baby due any day.
