Kevin and Liz's medical bills

My brother, Kevin, and sister in law, Liz, were so excited to be pregnant with their second baby girl. She was due on May 13th, 2018. Liz had a healthy pregnancy, but one day in late February she started to not feel right and called her doctor. They told her to go to the emergency room and get checked out. The ER doctors told Liz and Kevin that they couldn't find their baby girl's heart beat.
Within hours of learning that their baby had passed on, Liz had to have an emergency C-section. Grace Anne Kennedy was delivered on February 25th, 2018 at 9:32pm. She weighed 1 pound and 14 ounces, was 13 inches long, and had blond hair.
Understandably the loss of their baby has been exteremely emotional and stressful on Liz and the entire family. Liz went home from the hospital a few days later however due to complications she was readmitted.
They have health insurance however it only covers a small portion of the hospital bills. They recently recieved a bill for the first hospital stay for more than $4,000. They anticipate a bill for about the same amount for Liz's second hospital stay in the next couple of days. Neither Liz nor my brother are able to work and their bills are piling up while they try to heal from the loss of their baby.
