2015 Christmas Kettles - Kingston

Donation protected
Every year more people look to The Salvation Army for help in providing the basic necessities of life.

In 2014 The Salvation Army in Kingston, Ontario provided 26,286 hot meals to those most in need, 23,200 bags of groceries to 9,587 households who had trouble providing food for their families, 801 clothing vouchers and 884 household goods vouchers to people in need and provided 3,486 people with supportive services through the Community and Family Services offices to help manage life’s difficulties and provide a sense of hope for the future.

I am returning as the 2015 Christmas Kettle Coordinator and from November 14 to December 24, my job is to raise the majority of the money to fund these programs throughout the coming year. I have again taken on this responsibility because I have seen, firsthand the need in the community as well as the benefit that these services provide. The Salvation Army does not fund-raise throughout the year and relies on the generosity of the community at this time to help the less fortunate year round.

Your donation means a lot, and can help that homeless person you may have seen around as well as many you will never know.

We will not ask you to give as we feel that is a personal decision, but we are very appreciative for every donation we receive. Together we are Giving Hope Today to Kingstonians in the community.
