Kessler Park Baseball Security

As you may know, crime and vandalism at the ball park has been a constant battle.  From the frequently tagged on snack bar walls, that have to be repainted right before games start.  To the resent theft of the league’s quad, that is used to grate the infield for the kids to safely play on a smooth dirt surface.  The quad was stolen Sunday night, 1/25/15.  Frustrated community members started talking about it on social media & many members agreed that the park needs security cameras & an alarm system to catch the thieves in the act.  The community wanted to help the kids of the park and stated that they were willing to help fund the expense.  This GoFundMe account was created to help with donations. 
Anyone wanting to help with the security of the kid’s ball park can donate here.  Donations can also be directly to the park, board members will be there most Saturdays.  And it may be possible to make a donation directly to the Protection1 account.

Protection1 has worked with Mark, the league’s president, to get us a good deal. Total equipment, installation, and recurring service charges for 1 year will come to about $1500.  With raising $1500 it will pay for the system without using the money that the league needs for normal expenses for the players. 

Please help share the cause.  Every dollar helps, generous donations get us to the goal faster.  Any extra funds that are raised will go towards next year’s Protection invoices.
