Kerry’s Wildlife Rescue & Care Inc. is a wildlife rescue group located in Brisbane, Queensland Australia.
We take in orphaned, sick, or injured native wildlife and raise or rehabilitate them until they are ready for release back into the wild.
We will happily take in any native wildlife, however we do focus on Possums, Kangaroos, Wallabies, and Gliders.
Kerry's Wildlife Rescue & Care is headed by myself, Kerry Schilling. I have held all animals close to my heart for as long as I can remember, and have been a wildlife carer for more than 30 years. With the help of my supportive husband, Ross, along with a small band of dedicated carers, I officially opened the doors of my Wooloongabba home in May 2015 as the operations base.
We have grown immensely since 2015 and we take in approximately 120 animals per year, but our wildlife is always in need, so while our arms and hearts will always be open for them, we do need some help...
As you can imagine, rehabilitating and raising these gorgeous creatures comes at quite a cost, and we survive on donations from people like you!
Every cent raised through GoFundMe will go directly to the care of these wonderful creatures.
In addition to food and nursing costs, your donation will help towards cages, fabric to make blankets and pouches, towels, wood for the possum boxes and more.
