Kerry's Final Expenses/Cremation

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Amy Wise. I'm 26 and the primary caregiver of my mommy who is 65. My mother, Kerry Alycia Wise was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma in March of 2016. By the time the cancer was discovered it was in her left kidney, left hip, and in both lungs. She had a 11.5 hour surgery removing the left kidney and to replace the left hip to remove as much of the cancer in the pelvic bone as possible. Two weeks after surgery, she started her radiation on the hip/pelvic area, every day for six weeks. She then started oral chemotherapy which made her very sick. Vomitting, weakness, weight loss, and aches and pains. She basically felt like she had a severe flu that we couldn't get rid of. Everything looked good to that point. It wasnt going away, but it wasnt growing either. In july of 2017, after another pet scan and a 3rd hospitalization within 1 month and a few days, we found the oral chemo had stopped working and the cancer had spread to the liver. So we started an immunotherapy treatment. Within a week and a half of the first treatment, it had moved to the spine. We continued the treatment to see if the cancer could be stopped and possibly shrunk.  After the first treatment mommy began to get very confused and weak along with the flu symptoms plus a few new ones like a constant dry cough and a constant headche. A week after the second one, she didnt know she had cancer (just thinks she has a horrible virus) or who I was, a lot of the time I am her mommy or sister or a friend, and could no longer walk, use cups, ect. She lost 12 lbs in that 2 weeks. At the point we decided ( the doctor and I) that we needed to stop focusing on trying to cure her cancer and more on her quality of life. We had tried to ask her what she wanted to do, because me being her daughter didn't want her to stop, but knew its what was best. All she could answer was she wanted her mommy. At the point the doctor gave her 4 weeks at most. That was a week ago. About 4 monthes ago when I took over managing her finances since she was getting worse and I was moving her in with me, I found the life insurance policy I had bought for her four years ago and was reassured was being paid was not kept up with after about a year and a half. So I did my best to reinstate which couldn't be done. I tried to find other policies to purchase but that wasn't a possibility with her illness and how far along it was. So now, as much as it pains me, I come to you. Her friends, family, and maybe just a good summeratin to help me pay for my mommys final bills, medical expenses and to pay for a cremation. My mommy is very claustrophobic and when her mind wasn't as bad, she made it clear she never wanted to be under ground. I hate that i have to ask for help to do this for her, but there is no other way. Any amount would help and be greatly appreciated. She has fought a long, hard battle. I could never be more proud to call anybody my mommy. I love her with all my heart and just pray that God wraps his arms around her and takes away her pain. I know she'll be watching over us all. Thank each and everyone of you for your thoughts, prayers, and donations. God Bless every single person that even just takes the time to read our story.
