We are delighted to inform you that Kerry is now safely back in the UK, residing in East Surrey Hospital.
Kerry will remain in hospital as there is still a long road to recovery, but she is showing great signs of recovery and in good spirits.
Kerry and her family are extremely grateful and overwhelmed for all the support and donations.
We will continue to raise support for Kerry and the family as there is still a long way to go.
18th April:
3 weeks ago, Kerry was celebrating her 50th birthday in Marbella where we believe she was bitten and unfortunately contracted Sepsis, which caused Kidney failure and Kerry was therefore put in an induced coma.
Kerry came around last week and started to make small steps towards her recovery, however we learnt she had also suffered a stroke whilst in the coma.
Subsequently Kerry had to have an operation last night to reduce swelling around her brain, which went to plan.
We anticipate a very slow recovery for Kerry and whilst she is in hospital in Spain, her family will be with her every step of the way.
This is the opportunity to contribute whatever is possible, towards their expenses in Spain and the UK at this this difficult time.
