dedicated to raising funds and offering ground support in Cambodia, Heartprint’s goal is to leave an impression on the hearts of impoverished Cambodians.
Through supporting the relief of poverty, they also support the obtaining of education and the breaking of child abandonment practices. Through fundraisers and donations, we are able to provide housing, education support and work opportunities to allow all Cambodians to have hope, dignity and the opportunity for a brighter future.
Heartprint’s Cambodian projects include house, toilet and well building for impoverished families and Heartprint House, which is a community support centre. Heartprint are looking for help with other ventures and rely heavily on funds and donations to allow them to continue the ongoing work they do in Cambodia.
Myself along with a group of like-minded volunteers are travelling to Cambodia in November to build a house for a very needy family. As part of the volunteer tour we will be physically helping to build the house but must also raise or donate the funds to provide the materials for the projects. I am seeking your financial assistance to help with this project and your donation no matter how big or small would be greatly appreciated. Please be assured that one hun
dred percent of your donation will be going to directly to help a Cambodian family in need.
I would love for my family and friends to be able to fund a whole house for a Cambodian family, below is a list of cost for some ide
a on what
your money will be going towards:-
$2000 would build a whole house - FAMILIES ARE LIVING IN MAKESHIFT
HOUSING THAT PROVIDE VERY LITTLE SHE
LTER AND LEAK DURING THE RAINY SEASON.
$500 would build a Toilet- CAMBODIA HAS THE LOWEST RATE OF TOILET COVERAGE IN SOUTH EAST ASIA, LEADING TO DISEASE, ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS AND HINDERING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. THE GIFT OF A TOILET WILL GIVE A FAMILY PRIVACY, SANITATION AND THE BELIEF AND TOOLS TO IMPROVE THE ENVIRONMENT INWHICH THEY LIVE.
$280 would build a well- GIVE A FAMILY THE GIFT OF CLEAN WATER, SOMETHING WE IN THE WESTERN WORLD TAKE FOR GRANTED. SIEM REAP SITS UPON A LARGE WATER TABLE UNREACHABLE TO MOST FAMILIES, BY INSTALLING A WELL YOU GIVE THEM ACCESS TO THIS VALU
ABLE RESOURCE. ONE WELL CAN HELP UP TO FOUR FAMILIES, MEANING 40 PEOPLE WITH CLEAN WATER.
$65 would buy a family bicycle- BICYCLES ARE A GREAT FORM OF TRANSPORT, WITH NO FUEL COSTS TO PAY OUT BIKES WORK WELL FOR NOT ONLY THE CHILDREN TO GET TO SCHOOL BUT ALSO THE ADULTS TO GET TO WORK OR THE MARKET. AS BICYCLES CAN TRANSPORT TWO OR THREE CHILDREN YOU ARE NOT JUST SUPPORTING ONE CHILD YOU ARE USUALLY SUPPORTING A WHOLE FAMILY.
