Hi everyone,
You all may have seen/read the news about the recent floods in the Southern State of India-Kerala. This is my home state where I am originally from. Hundreds have lost their lives and thousands have lost everything they had. It is heartbreaking to see when nature takes away all the efforts of a life time. The damage toll is estimated in Billions.
My name is George Joseph and I live in Adelaide South Australia. This is a humble effort by a group of friends on trying to reach out to our fellow brothers and sisters in the most demanding times of their life. Every single penny donated will help someone in rebuilding their life in some form or other. I am hoping to use the funds raised through this campaign as below.
50% -> State Government Disaster Relief fund.
40% -> NGOs
10% -> Directly to those who are in need. In the event that this is not possible, this amount will go to the State Disaster Relief Fund.
