Kenyan trip fundraiser

Hi my name is Scarlett and I am going on a school service trip to Kenya this summer.

I will be working at schools in Naivasha, a rural area near Nairobi. I will be teaching lessons along with completing some physical work to improve the conditions of the schools. I will also be visiting a children's home and refuge centre in the local area.

I would like to raise funds to help give these children food and better resources, and so I am undertaking a challenge which I would appreciate your support with.

On 19th April 2025 I will be walking 20 miles along the South Downs Way. This is the distance a Kenyan child would need to walk during a school week to get clean water for themselves and their family. This is something that my friends and I can hardly imagine and walking this distance is just a small hardship compared to the lengths the Kenyan children go to.

The funds will be used to help fight poverty and hunger and provide a regular lunch meal to a child in need. Every contribution will be greatly appreciated as this cause is close to my heart.
