Help Me Build My Dream from the Ground Up

Hello everyone,

My name is Ken, and I’m reaching out to share a dream I’ve been working hard to bring to life - frmgrndup (From the Ground Up). It’s not just a brand; it’s a movement. It’s about empowering people to believe in themselves, to build their dreams step by step, and to carry a powerful message of hope and determination, even on a simple t-shirt.

I’ve always wanted to be an artist, to share my creativity with the world and inspire others. Life, however, had other plans. I didn’t finish school because I needed to take care of my family, but I’ve never stopped dreaming. Now, I’m finally taking the first steps toward making this dream a reality.

Right now, I’m running a small print-on-demand shop. While it’s been a valuable learning experience, the reality is I’m not making money from it. The cost of production, taxes, shirt pricing, and subscriptions for the platforms I use make it nearly impossible to turn a profit.

On top of that, I’m learning to build a website for my brand from scratch because subscribing to website-building platforms is expensive. And while I’m saving up to patent my brand, it’s a challenge because I’m currently the sole provider for my family. (frmgrndup.store)

My wife is pursuing her college degree full-time, and we have two children in college as well. I also manage our household bills and expenses, which doesn’t leave much room to invest in the tools I need to grow this dream.

To truly bring frmgrndup to life, I need to purchase my own printing equipment. Owning the equipment will reduce costs and give me full creative control over the designs and messages I want to share with the world.

This isn’t just about me. My brand is built on the belief that everyone has a dream worth fighting for - even those with low self-esteem or those who feel unheard. Through meaningful, inspiring designs printed on t-shirts, I want to encourage others to voice their dreams and take their first steps toward building a better future.
