This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life. I will first apologize for not contacting a lot of people verbally, but I'm just unable to do it.
There is no easy way to say this. Kenneth has transitioned on Saturday October 3, 2020. Words from his head nurse Jessica, “It's hard to put a timeframe on this; but his time is near.” His scans showed limited Kidney & Lung failure. His heart is very weak, there’s nothing else we can do for Kenneth. There is no hope at this point.
We are so angry, sad, terrified... why is the world going to miss having this wonderful loving soul? In a world so full of violence and negativity, it seems so unfair that this peaceful young person is being taken from us. Devastation is an understatement of the feeling we have. It's truly the worst pain imaginable.
For whatever time we had left with Kenneth. Our families last hours with our beautiful son is our priority.
I'm so proud to have been picked as his mother. He has brought me and our family so many laughs, joys and love in the last 26 years...He wakes up in the middle of the night to say "Mommy, why do I love you SOOOOOO much??" ... I don't know what I'm going to do without this huge piece of my heart. Without his love, his protection, kisses & hugs.
We will post more information when we can for his final celebration.
Again... truly we love you all. You all brighten his days, made his last birthday and Christmas wonderful! It's your support that will help carry our family thru this Hell and we need it now more than ever.
