Kenneth Hester Sr. Funeral Expense

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and at least read this message. My name is Kenneth E. Hester Jr. and on Aug 6th, 2017 my father Kenneth E. Hester Sr. took his last breath, after suffering from lung cancer for over two years, and departed this world for what lay next fully knowing of where he was going and how happy he would be to see the people he loved most from his past and now being able to be our guardian angel. We recently lost my grandmother Marcene Hester (his mother) several months ago which only makes his passing harder for us as well. My parents are still foster parents taking care of an amazing kid called Jared. And with the cost of medical bills, therapy sessions and travel cost in the past, had to use most of his life savings in order to keep things up for my family. Now I know my father would be against me posting this and asking for help however, he always told me one of his cardinal rules "I'll always give a hand up, but never a hand out". And so I'm asking that even if you could give only 1 penny, it would be more of a blessing than you could realize. My mother is on a fixed income and not able to carry the emotional weight of having to worry about this sort of thing and while i know we can manage it (albeit with much difficulty) I am asking that you help as much as your heart allows. Even if you don't give anything. I ask that as you read this, you at least give a few moments of thought or even a prayer knowing that this man had an impact on more lives than one could count. As i wish everyone could have experienced the love, courage and strength this brave man, my father has shown so many others over these past two and a half years.
