Kennedy Meadows Fire Relief Efforts

Hi - we are long-time visitors to Kennedy Meadows and want to do something to help out the Bloom family, Kennedy Meadows, the volunteers and crews helping out during this time of need.

The Donnell Fire started Wednesday, Aug. 1st near the east side of Donnell Lake and has already destroyed a significant amount of land and structures.

At this time, the fire is approaching Kennedy Meadows (please see photo post with official update). We are raising funds for the relief efforts for Kennedy Meadows, the owners, staff and volunteers to help out with all aspects of the fire, and to help in anyway possible to keep it safe.  The monies raised will go to the Bloom family (owners of Kennedy Meadows) as they are working around the clock to do whatever they can to keep Kennedy Meadows, volunteers and horses safe.

Generations of families have grown up visiting Kennedy Meadows every year and hold this sacred place close to our hearts. (We even named our daughter Kennedy after the resort). Please donate any amount, as it will be much needed now and for recovery efforts.
