Kennedi Mae's fight for life

My cousins baby girl is currently fighting the hardest battle of all, the fight for life. Kennedi was born on 6/7/17, healthy and full of life. On July 26th at 7am everything changed. Her mother Alexa awoke to find her precious little girl unresponsive and purple. She immediately called 911. The EMT's arrived and tried their best efforts to get any response of life from her, a pulse, a breath, anything. She was pronounced DOA. This did not stop them from trying all that they could the entire way from West Eveleth to the Virginia, MN emergency room. Once she was there they were able to get a pulse after connecting her to life saving machines and medical equipment. They were able to get "breathing" started with the help of a ventilator, but she is not breathing on her own at all.  She was life flighted from there to St Mary's children's hospital in Duluth, MN.  

She currently cannot breathe on her own, but as her parents says; "She's a fighter."   She will never be considered "normal" due to the lack of oxygen to her brain for such a long period of time. The nerve and brain damage is so severe and she is and will be as the doctors call it a vegetable if she survives this.  

This is truly every and any parents worst nightmare. We are hoping and praying for a miracle every minute. Financially there will be a huge burden to Austin and Alexa from excess medical expenses to lodging, food and missed work hours causing them a loss of income. Please consider helping them and Kennedi. If nothing else please pray for them. Pray for a miracle. Pray for peace and healing. Pray for strength. This is such a hard and scary time for everyone that loves them and loves this little girl.
