Kendall's Fund to Study in Peru!

I am thrilled to announce that I am one of the 20 students, out of over 70 applicants, who got accepted to go to Peru for three weeks in August to conduct ecological research!

Meeting up in Cusco, our journeys will take us to untouched regions of the Amazon Rainforest and to the cloud forests of the Andes mountains. We will also spend time with a women's textile coalition to study the sustaibility of local industry and will travel to the ruins of Machu Picchu to study the effects of tourism on the environment.

The total cost of the program and travel is around $5000. I am extremely grateful to have been given this once in a lifetime opportunity, but do not have the funds to go on my own. A donation of any amount will be extremely welcome and appreciated.
