<div>For generations, the Kendal Torchlight Procession has been a beacon of light and community spirit in our town. It is part of our tradition and many of us can't imagine Kendal without it. Since 1970, Torchlight has brought us all together and made the streets alive whether watching or taking part.

<div>Times are challenging across the board and as many events are, we are struggling for funds. Torchlight is Kendal's event and a small group of volunteers are working hard to keep this tradition alive for all of us and we need your help!

<div>To run this year's 55th anniversary event we need to meet a fundraising target of £10,000 by the 31st July!
