Ken's Accident Fund
Donation protected
My brother, Ken Buddell, was the victim of a hit and run accident on Saturday September 16th while riding his bike. He is an avid cyclist and was coming back from a ride when he was struck while in a roundabout. This is the second time he has been struck by a car while riding his bike in Ohio. He suffered a broken nose, chipped tooth, multiple stiches in his mouth as well as his eye, may have a broken finger, and suffered a mild concussion. Since the person left the scene of the accident it is more than likely my brother will not be able to recuperate the costs associated with the accident. On top of the medical bills that he will have to pay for is the cost of his new bike that he just got about 4 weeks ago. For those who are not aware of the cost of these bikes can be thousands of dollars. I am unaware of the exact cost to replace this bike, but I believe it will upwards of 5000. Since this is the first time I am setting up something like this I was not sure what goal to set so I decided to set it at the cost to replace the bike. If anyone would like to donate to this cause I would appreciate it and I know my brother would as well. Thank you in advance for you generous donation and even if you decide not to donate your thoughts and prayers are just as appreciated.
