<div>Ken and Sonya are currently facing the burden and repercussions of an unexpected major surgery for Ken. Earlier last year, Ken started to experience intense back pain which quickly became debilitating and began to affect the use of his hands. After many months of testing, the diagnosis was inconclusive, but his medical team determined that surgery was necessary. Spinal surgery was done at the end of 2023 in the hopes of relieving pain and restoring use of his hands and legs. The surgery was followed by a stay at a center for physical rehabilitation over the holidays. Now that Ken is home, Sonya is taking an extended leave from work to offer full-time care for him. Currently he is relearning how to walk and undergoing physical therapy to relearn how to use his hands.  They are currently facing overwhelming medical expenses. As they navigate through this challenging time, it has become clear that they need our help and support. As most of you know, Ken is the rock of the family and if you have ever spent any time with Sonya, you have likely benefited from her enormous heart and her desire to care for everyone around her. This is our opportunity to care for her and Ken as they navigate through this difficult time. Monetary gifts and prayers are needed.
