Documentary: Educating Kenyan Youth

Donation protected
Help us capture the uniquely emotional journey of sponsoring a child in Kenya, Africa through a deeply personal lens. Please visit our website for more information.

It is so important to promote the valuable act of sponsoring a child. Our mission is to remove the barriers that prevent underprivileged children from receiving an education by encouraging others to provide them the opportunities (sponsorship, mentorship, programs, etc.) needed so they can be successful and contributing members of their communities.

Our goal is to document the extremely emotional experience of sponsoring a child through Stephanie and Anne's journey. Through this, we plan to capture every aspect of both sponsoring and being sponsored, to provide a comprehensive look at the positive effects that sponsoring a child can have.

Our hope is that in doing this, we are able to create a documentary that is an extremely emotional and close to the experience. Framing child sponsorship in such a personal and relatable way, will encourage others to follow the same path, and sponsor a child of their own.

We are currently raising money and seeking sponsorship to fund Kelse's travel and accommodation costs for this project (including flights, lodging, jeep rides, vaccinations, tips, water, and more). You can help us by donating directly to this GoFundMe page, or contacting Kelse with a separate sponsorship offer.

By donating to this campaign you will be supporting the promotion of child sponsorship in Africa and the career of a recently graduated female filmmaker. Every bit helps. Please help us spread this message and make this dream a reality.

As a special thank you, every person who donates to this campaign will be included in the credits of this documentary as a valued sponsor. Additionally, substantial contributors will receive special bonuses!

Silver Sponsors ($100 or more) will receive a handwritten thank you note from one of the children at the Oloosinon Primary School.
Gold Sponsors ($500 or more) will receive a small handmade gift from Kenya as well as a handwritten thank you note from one of the children at the Oloosinon Primary School.
Platinum Sponsors ($1,000 or more) will receive all of the above and an Executive Producer credit with their own individual title card featuring their name or business.

Please help us spread this message and make this dream a reality. Thank you so much for your time.
