<div>Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 in what should have been the happiest day of their lives, John Helgerson experienced the unimaginable. His beloved wife, Kelly, passed away due to complications from childbirth leaving behind their beautiful newborn daughter, Sage.

<div>John is a well-respected middle school science teacher and cross country/track coach in Reno, NV. He is now left to navigate life as a single father while grieving the love of his life. Baby Sage is currently receiving the best of care in the NICU at Renown Medical Center here in Reno.
