Hello, my name is Joy. I was trying to think of a way to help my friend Kelly as she is going through some trying times. As of right now, Kelly is still in the hospital. She has been there for almost 3 weeks. Several months ago the doctors informed Kelly she had some problems with one of her kidneys. They ran some labs and test. She was told she had kidney stones and to follow up. They never really addressed the real issue, which led her to this hospital stay with a severe infection and the loss of her kidney….today she thought she could go home. However, the infection is still bad and they are running test to see what’s going on.

Now for the back story….

Kelly is an amazing person who would help anybody and literally give the shirt off her back. She is a an amazing hairdresser and is self-employed. Kelly has an adult daughter and grandson. Kelly’s daughter is a hard worker, which allows Kelly to play an important role in their lives.Kelly and her grandson are very close and she helps oversee his day-to-day school activities and life.

Kelly’s life has been a rollercoaster of toughness, as soon as she starts to recover one more thing happens.

3 years ago Kelly tragically lost her son to murder. Then she lost her husband 6 months later due to a heart attack and shortly after that, she lost the family pet.

Kelly has strived to forgive and move on with her life. Just when things started to get better and she started trying to live a happy life, she gets sick….

Now she’s left with her home and business financial responsibilities piling up. We all know what it’s like to struggle and we all know what it’s like to suffer behind Financial distress.

I wanted to set this GoFundMe up because it’s the best way I know to help Kelly and to give her some relief. We all know how the stress of lack of financial resources affects our mental and physical health…

It is my hope that we can pitch in and help Kelly during her time of need! Reducing her financial burdens will allow her time to focus on her recovery!!
