Hello Friends and Family.
I created this GoFundMe page for my lovely sister Kelly.
Many of you know Kelly and her free spirit and independent nature. She is a rock and is always such a positive person.
Unfortunately, last Fall a tumor was discovered on her ovaries, which after testing turned out to be cancer. Over the winter she has undergone major surgery and 6 rounds of Chemo, followed by many tests. She has to drive from Kitty Hawk to Norfolk for any treatments. Thank goodness her work has been very understanding in all of this.
We are all praying for test results and DNA markers to come back in the next month with good news of course!
What does she need? -- Well all of this has taken a huge toll on her finances as you can imagine. She is single and has to go through all of this on her own. My sister is incredibly proud, and did not initially want me to do something like this, but I am persistent and know that so many people out there love her and care how she is doing.
We are asking to hit this meager goal of $7K to help her with the medical bills and medications in general, for it is becoming hard to bear alone.
Please give what you can, and of course it is a tax deduction if you worry about that stuff. Reach out to her on FB, and send her some encouragement as well!
