I really do believe peace is possible. I understand peace goes beyond the absence of war and violence to provide an environment of restoration where all people have the opportunity to lead lives of fulfillment and purpose.
I will be traveling to Palestine and Israel this May to meet with leaders in the region of many backgrounds, including those of Muslim, Christian, and Jewish faiths. We will also meet with refugees in the area.
Purpose
The purpose is to not only come to a deeper understanding of the conflict in the Middle East, but to also bring stories and peacemaking skills home to work towards creating systems and processes that create an environment where all have a chance to thrive. We will experience first hand accounts of the reality in Israel and Palestine and will be ambassadors for the pro-peace movement. This pro-peace movement is relevant to Israel and Palestine, our local communities here in America, and to the World.
Costs
As with all trips of this nature, the cost to travel overseas is significant. If you would like to and are able to give towards the cost, I would be incredibly grateful. I will have this gofundme page up through March 18th.
