In 2010, at the age of 31, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer that had spread to my lymph nodes.  I had very aggressive treatments that included 4 types of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, radiation and reconstruction surgery. I've since been on hormone replacement therapy and have been in remission.  Unfortunately, despite only having a 1% chance of ever having a reoccurrence in the breast wall after a mastectomy, my cancer somehow managed to return.  I completed my first surgery in June to remove the cancer and insert a port and I'm now undergoing 4-5 months of chemotherapy.  Once that is complete, I will have a second breast reconstruction surgery which has a recovery period of 4-6 weeks.  I will also have Herceptin administered every 3 weeks intravenously for the next year.  Once that is complete, I have my third surgery which is the big one, the total hysterectomy which has a recovery period of 6-8 weeks.  I have a very long, arduous, emotionally draining and expensive process ahead. I’m still trying to work as an hourly employee as much as I can to keep the lights on and pay these mounting medical bills.  Chemotherapy is cumulative so as the weeks go on, the symptoms of fatigue and nausea will increase and my ability to work will decrease.  INT Technologies graciously decided to create this Go Fund Me page to help in this difficult time so that my coworkers and friends can show their love and support.  Any donation amount is so gracious and very much appreciated.  Thank you all a million times over!!!  There no words to sufficiently show my gratitude.
