Kelly Martin's Stroke Therapy

Donation protected
My brother Kelly Martin recently suffered a massive heart attack and without the help of some helpful EMT bystanders, he may not have survived.  Kelly was playing racquetball at a local Seattle area gym when he collapsed.  Kelly required surgery to implant a stint for an artery that was 100% blocked.  The surgery went well but he unfortunately suffered a stroke sometime after surgery to some areas of the brain.  It turns out those affected areas control his short term memory.  Kelly can remember names and faces of friends from past and present but he has trouble remembering what was talked about minutes prior.  I am asking for your help.  Kelly and his wife, Lanelle, are in need of our support.  The out of pocket hospital bills alone are $9K and he is set to receive 40 hyperbaric treatments to help him regain some of his brain function which will cost an estimated $8K and it is not covered by insurance.  The treatments will hopefully allow Kelly to return to work and do all of those things we take for granted like driving a car and being independent.  Kelly is the father of two wonderful boys, Christian and William (Pictured).  He is a loving father and husband and he is deserving of our help.  Kelly has always been there for others in need and now I am asking and pleading for friends, neighbors and strangers to make a donation to the Martins.  Any amount is helpful but I am suggesting that a donation in the range of $100 to $200 would be needed to meet the goal of $17,000.  This would cover both the hospital stay and the treatments he needs.
