Kelli’s fight against Colitis

Hello! First off, thank you for taking the time to read this, we are very appreciative! By “we” I am referring to myself Steve but more importantly my beautiful wife Kelli.
Kelli is one of the most beautiful people, inside as well as out, that I’ve ever met. She’s an amazing mother to our 3 beautiful boys,(Zander 8 and twins Declan and Dominic 4)
and the best wife a husband could ever dream of. Completely selfless always making sure everyone else is taken care of before herself in sickness almost more than in health.
Kelli became sick with what appeared to be epic flu symptoms in late April but they lasted much longer then the normal 7-10 days and progressively worsened. After many tests and appointments with multiple doctors and specialists kelli was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. We learned as much as we could google about it as quickly as we could with the unfortunate realization that there is no cure for colitis.
After a brief stay in the hospital she was released home only to become much sicker and end up being emergency rushed back this time for a 3 week stay.
After multiple medications kelli was accepted into the inflectra program. Extremely expensive but “groundbreaking” in terms of showing any results vs colitis.
Why we need your help!
The cost of each vial is $600 and she needs 9 vials every 4 weeks.
Kelli hasn’t been able to work since she first became ill in April, nor is she able to go back until she goes into remission, and my benefits don’t cover all of the cost of the inflectra.
It’s incredibly humbling to be in a position like this but I’m grateful, for the sake of my family, that there is a platform to reach out to generous and helpful people in times of need such as this.
From the bottom of all our hearts we can’t thank you enough for any help you can provide us. Every dollar counts in our struggle but we understand that not everyone is in a position to help so we ask that you please share our story to your friends and family.
