Kelli day my mom with cancer

update, thanks for all of you that have helped my mom has gone through two surgeries which unfortunately failed they couldn’t get all the cancer so she will be having a double mastectomy soon in hopes that insurance will cover reconstruction. She has started chemotherapy but had an allergic reaction last week and stopped breathing so now they are switching to a different type of chemotherapy. I recently when and got tested as well for the gene in hopes I can prevent this for myself but am still waiting for results. In a couple months we will have to move my mom to Green Bay which is hours away from her home to get the care that she needs. Anything helps and we greatly appreciate you all through this tough time on our family.

Hi my name is Lauren I’m the daughter of Kelli day. This is a very uncomfortable thing for me to do and ask for help. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer about two months ago. It seemed minor at first, unfortunately we just found out that the cancer is rapidly spreading throughout her body. On top of cancer my mother was born with cerebral palsy making life even more a struggle for her. This is going to be a long scary process as she lives in a very small town in northern Michigan where she can’t get the care she needs. As hard as this is for me to ask I need to figure out how to pay to get help proper help in Michigan or to move her to California. This money will help with medical expenses, flights, hotels close to a larger hospital. If you cannot donate please share I am at a loss right now and trying to cope through this while figuring out the best form of care for her.
