Hey, my name is Kelley. I’m looking for any kind of help at the moment. I’m struggling financially and am homeless right now. I was off work for 4 months on medical leave. I had 2 doctors trying to help me get a Dexcom for help managing my low blood sugars after complications from my bariatric surgery. Needed to be approved through my insurance which they had to appeal 4 times to still be denied. Out of pocket would be $400/mo. Now they are trying to get me a cheaper one for $90/mo. Still trying to get back on my feet and be able to do even that. During the time I was off work. I wasn’t getting paid. I had one week of PTO I was able to use and then an FMLA payment that basically covered my bills that came out of my bank automatically, which didn’t help much, and I lost my apartment. Got evicted. Wasn’t able to get any assistance with my rent. I have a storage unit and was able to put all my belongings in there for the time being. Now I’m living out of my car.

I am back to work since last month, looking for a place to rent, and I was approved for a house, but they want $1500 upfront to get into. I don’t have the funds. I’ve been trying to stay in hotels with the money I did have saved from working again, and now that’s all gone. Just need some help getting a place to get back on my feet. Anything helps. I hate asking for help but am desperate right now. I appreciate anything. Thanks and God bless.
