Messiah Hope Center

Donation protected
Recently in my prayer life I have been asking God to reveal to me  what truly breaks my heart, and it wasn’t until last week, after Facetiming my sister, Supriya, who is in India at our parents children home called, Messiah Hope Center.
In 1999, Messiah Hope Center opened to help children in poverty stricken areas. They have the privilege of being able to take care of a total of 50 boys and girls ranging from 6 years old to 16 years old. They provide a safe space for children that have nothing. Messiah Hope Center provides these children with a place to grow up. They assist the children in getting them an education, and in teaching them about the importance of a God centered life.
Last week my parents found out devastating news. You see, there is a new prime minister of India who is making it extremely difficult for Christian organizations to exist.  One of the regulations he has placed on Messiah Hope Center is that there has to be a gradual living distance between where the boys and girls live within the home, and although the boys and girls already have separate spaces in the children home, the government is stating that they need to be separated even further. The government even stated that it’s not acceptable for the children to live in two different buildings on the same property. This leaves my parents with no other option but to move either the boys or the girls to a completely separate location.
If they cannot relocate the children to a new location, either the boys or girls will have to return to their parents. However, a lot of these children came from broken or extremely poor homes. Some came from nothing, which means they would have to go back to the poverty they believed they escaped. Not to mention, if it wasn’t for the children’s home these children would not be able to have an education, a safe home, or even just simple food to eat. How awful is it that they’ve been able to experience so much good and now they have to go back to brokenness and poverty?
After hearing this news from my sister, I got off the phone and got in the shower and God revealed to me what I’ve been asking him. It’s these children, these orphans, who are abandoned, who don’t feel loved, who don’t feel wanted, who don’t have parents, who don’t have a home to go to, and who just don’t feel seen. It truly breaks my heart that these young children may have to go back to their “old” lives. God is showing me His heart for orphans and growing my affections to reflect His.
I say all of this to you, my Facebook community, in hopes to potentially spark someone else’s heart for these orphans across the world. I ask that you prayerfully consider giving to Messiah Hope Center and that you also keep these children and overall my parents orphanage in your prayers. I ask that the word be spread to your friends and families, churches, and peers.
Lastly, Messiah Hope Center is setting a goal to raise 12,000 dollars for the children. This money would cover the costs it take to relocate the girls to a new space, still underneath the Messiah Hope Center for the next 6 months. This money would cover the costs of food, education, and property payments, such as rent and utilities. If you would like to partner in giving towards this goal, please click on the link I’ve listed below. Messiah Hope Center will continue to give updates, send pictures, and videos to those who feel the call to take this journey alongside them. I do not typically post these sorts of posts on my Facebook, but this has truly broken my heart, and I ask, for those of you who can give, to think about providing a donation to this organization that is underneath persecution.
