The Floyd Family needs our help

Donation protected
Hello family and friends, I am asking you today to please help Keith, Chrissy and their 3 beautiful boys help pay Keith's medical bills from his stay at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Most of you already know that on Friday January 12, 2018 Keith was rushed to the hospital by ambulance because he was having trouble breathing and felt very ill, when he arrived at the hospital they drew blood and tested for the flu amongst other things. The flu test came out positive for him having flu Type A and double pneumonia. Very quickly Keith fell gravely ill and had to be put in a medically induced coma so that the doctors and nurses could heal him without him using up all his energy to fight this horrible sickness. They had to put him on a ventilator (life support) because his lungs were filled with fluid and he was not breathing well on his own. The doctors told us that he was critically ill. We stayed positive and prayed harder then we have ever prayed before. Watching him go through this crippling illness was the worst thing anyone of us have ever endured. It was like a rollercoaster ride one day he would improve and the next day we would have a setback, as the days went by he started to stabilize. His temperature went down, his lungs sounded clearer and his oxygen levels were getting better, we couldn't believe that after all he had been through he was still fighting with every ounce of energy he had left.  On Wednesday January 24, 2018 we received the best news possible they were taking his ventilator out since he was breathing on his own and weaned him off of all the medications that was keeping him sedated. By the Grace of God his eyes were open and he is slowly getting better everyday. He was in the ICU unit for 18 days at Upper Chesapeake, he will need extensive rehabilitation therapy since his muscles are weak. I have no doubt he will get there! He will be out of work for months and their family needs our help to pay these very expensive hospital bills and rehabilitation therapy and anything else he may need to get him back to 100%. As most of you know Christina, his wife is battling Crohns which requires her to go to the doctors frequently along with medications she has to take everyday, insurance doesn't always cover the treatment that she needs which can be very expensive. Their youngest son Gabriel is special needs, he is Autistic and is required to go to a special school and he is on medications as well. Their family is in desperate need of your help paying for all of these medical bills. They have been through so much together and when life knocks them down they get right back up again. I don't think it's fair that they have this financial burden on them. With your help we can make their lives just a little bit easier. Any amount will help. They have been through so much and do not need the burden of financial crisis on top of everything else they have endured. Thank you for your generosity and God Bless.
