Keith Jones

Keith served in the US Navy aboard the USS Independence. His tour included the Gulf War as well as other foreign places. We recently found out that the ship Keith was assigned too was vested in asbestos. He was also exposed to chemicals during the Gulf War. Although asbestos causes Mesothelioma and lung cancer, it's a huge risk factor for every other cancer. The next two leading cancers are cancer of the ovaries and larynx cancer (which is under head and neck) Keith was diagnosed with Head and Neck cancer 2015. After a long suffering of chemo and radiation, Keith thought it was finally over. Once Keith returned to work and tried to get things back to normal, he started having some of the same symptoms. Keith returned to the doctor hoping what he was experiencing wasn't anything major, only to be told cancer had returned; and not only had it returned, it was spreading. Keith has exhausted all his available time at work and his friends and family at the United States Postal Service have requested a go fund me account to help Keith with his home living and medical bills. It has been extremely difficult for Keith having to go through this really challenging time. However, he appreciates his family at the USPS for everything they're trying to do for him. Just one of his surgeries was $67K.  He's had 3 already and we're not sure how many more he'll have to encounter. Insurance is helping tremendously, but he still has a lot of out of pocket expenses. Keith doesn't know when or if he'll ever be able to return to work. The doctor says his cancer is incurable but treatable at this time. Your help and generosity are greatly appreciated.
